With the Envira Gallery Tags Addon, you can add custom tags to each of your images in your galleries.
This is a really powerful feature that doesn’t exist in the default WordPress galleries.
When you add custom tags to images, you can easily sort them and even create dynamic tag-based galleries.
Once you have tagged all the images you want to tag, you can perform two different actions with the Tags plugin.
First, you can create a custom gallery based on one or more tags. The Envira Gallery Tags Addon will create a gallery from all images containing the specified tag(s). You can enter your own custom ID for the gallery, and you can also set which gallery ID the settings should come from.
The other action you can take with the Tags plugin is to make your gallery tag filterable. In the Tags tab, simply check the “Enable Tag Filtering” option to enable gallery filtering.
This feature will display a list of tags above your gallery, and when a tag is clicked, it will be filtered to show only images tagged with that specific filter in a fancy, animated way. Awesome, right?
