Meta Box Tabs Extension is an extension for the Meta Box plugin, which allows you to organize custom fields into tabs. The extension supports 3 tab styles with the same user interface as in the WordPress admin area. Developers can easily set it up, better organize custom fields in meta box, satisfy customers in a more user-friendly way.
No more coding for meta boxes
No more recoding for meta boxes. Its only job is to add more parameters for tabs, such as tab titles and where each field belongs. This way, the user interface is really clear, and customers can easily understand it.
Tabs can have icons. The Meta Box Tabs Extension supports all Dashicons icons (the default icon font for the WordPress admin area). Also, you can use any icon font or images if you want.
To keep things simple, we use the same user interface as in the WordPress admin area. This ensures that nothing surprisingly appears on your edit pages.
The tabs can be above or on the left (similar to what WooCommerce does). You can also remove the wrapper from the meta box to make the tabs look better (see screenshot below).
If you need more ways to control how custom fields are organized, consider using Meta Box Columns. It allows you to place fields in a grid of 12 columns. Both plugins work well together.
