What is WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery?
WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery is a WooCommerce extension that helps you recover unfinished orders in your store. When a customer adds a product to the cart but doesn’t complete checkout. After a scheduled time, the cart will be marked as “abandoned.”
WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery will start sending a cart recovery email or Facebook message to the customer, remind them to complete the order.
Capture abandoned cart
When a user adds a product to the cart but doesn’t pay for it. After a selected time, the cart will be marked as “abandoned”. WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery will capture cart information, including: date added to cart, customer email address, items added to cart, cart total, cart status, and IP address. Then, use this information to contact the customer, offer them a discount, and ask them to complete the payment.
- Member cart tracking: Track the abandoned cart of registered users on your site.
- Abandoned Cart Time for Members: Set the time from when a member takes the last action with their cart until the cart is marked as abandoned.
- Guest cart tracking: Keep track of the abandoned guest cart on your site.
- Abandoned cart time for guest: Set the time from when a guest user has the last action with the cart until the cart is marked as abandoned.
- Abandoned table: Abandoned carts will be saved on the add-on’s back-end. And you can check the logs at any time. The logs provide information about the time, username, email, number of items, total cart price, item list, status, reminder logs, customer IP, and country.
- Cart Status: The abandoned cart has 2 abandoned and recovered statuses.
- Reminder Logs: The reminder logs option allows you to check the email and FB message sent to the abandoned cart owner.
- Exclude: Exclude the username of people you don’t want to have their cart tracked.
Email pop-up
request A pop-up will appear when customers click add to cart for the first time, ask them to fill in an email address to complete the add to cart action.
After receiving an email, the pop-up will not appear again, and users can add products to the cart normally. And the email address will be automatically filled in the payment form when the customer goes to the checkout page.
- Appear in: Choose the pages where you want the request email pop-up to appear. Single product pages, store page, cart page.
- Email Required: Choose whether you want to request an email address to add products. If this option is disabled, customers can close the request email pop-up to add products to the cart.
- Closing time: Set a time for the popup to reappear after a customer closes it.
- Redirect after adding to cart: When customers complete the email and add the product to the cart. You can choose to redirect them to the cart or checkout page.
- 2 templates: The popup has 2 built-in templates so you can change the front design.
- Change the front-end text: You can change the text message in the pop-up window.
- Change the color of the pop-up window: All the pop-up text, background, and color of the Add to Cart button can be changed in the backend of the plugin.
