WooCommerce Email Attachments
Add WooCommerce Email Attachments
With WooCommerce Email Attachments, you can add any type and number of attachments to your WooCommerce-generated email correspondence. You can also add additional CC and BCC recipients. To let recipients know about email attachments, you can add a notification title and notification text to the email footer.
Starting with version 3.0, WooCommerce Email Attachments recognizes and supports all emails added by the WooCommerce plugin. Additional emails generated by WooCommerce extensions are also recognized, if those plugins use and support the WooCommerce Email API (i.e., subscription or booking extensions).
Compatible with WPML
WPML has been supported since version 3.0. You can translate the notification title and notification text into all WPML languages, and you can select one, more, or all languages for each email attachment. Depending on the language selected, the corresponding attachments and notification texts are used for the emails.
Attachments can be uploaded using the standard WordPress media upload interface. They are stored in a separate directory but will appear in the WordPress media library. You can also use them in posts or other parts of your site.
You can use a filter in the media modal/popup to show only uploaded attachments, or you can show all existing media files in your gallery.
This filter helps you use existing media files from your library or quickly find files you only want to use as email attachments.
There’s also no need to upload the same files multiple times if they already exist in your media library.
You can also rearrange the order of attachments with a drag-and-drop interface.
With version 3.0, we had to change the internal structure and storage requirements. Older versions of the plugin (i.e., 2.x) can be updated with an automatic update script.
Using WordPress standards, WooCommerce APIs, modern object-oriented programming (OOP), and AJAX ensures high stability of our WooCommerce Email Attachments plugin and reduces the possibility of incompatibilities with other plugins (i.e., due to identical function names, etc.).
To ensure optimal performance for your site, this WooCommerce Email Attachments plugin deletes all database entries and uploaded files from the server upon deactivation if you no longer wish to use it. You have the option to retain all your settings and data for later reactivation, if desired. You can also change the upload folder to any destination of your choice at any time. In this case, all uploaded files are automatically moved, so you won’t lose any.
